Who are we?

Welcome to the first issue of The GutterBuzz !!! 

I’m so proud of how quickly this has all come together. As many of you know…I put on a conference dedicated to the Gutter Industry called Gutter-Con. This newsletter is an extension of that once a year event which is held in February each year. 

It’s sometimes hard to find your way when you’re running your own business. I know cause I’ve been doing it for over 30 years now. Back then…we didn’t have all the technologies and platforms available today. Believe it or not…when I started my first business in 1989…a cell phone with a 30 minute monthly plan was the standard…and it wasn’t even a handheld phone.  

Today…gutter guys (and gals) have so much opportunity to learn from their piers. Gutter-Con has brought so many of us together over the past 3 years along with the countless number of Facebook groups and gutter industry specific communities. It’s really great for business owners. 

GutterBuzz is here for the Gutter Community and I hope you will reach out to me if you have something to share with everyone. We are doing an installer profile every month so I hope you will consider telling your story to the rest of us in your own words. For this first issue I’ve told my story.
